Making Magic ………………

Image capture is really important - that’s my passion - but taking the photo is only part of the story …………….

……………. to make the image really sing, the photographer must team up with an excellent fine art print house, so that the finished article will command the attention it deserves in your gallery or on your wall.

Andy is just such a one - and he has agreed to help turn my images into fine art prints. All the images offered for sale on this website are fine art prints produced in-house using a wide format Canon Image Prograf PRO-4000 with Canon Lucia Pro pigment inks, which provide the best colour quality, stability and light-fastness on the market.

We print on a variety of different fine art Giclee papers, each chosen for its own characteristics to suit the individual images. They are all archival exhibition quality papers which will ensure a print life in excess of 85 years.

caveat: Handling large prints

If you are unfamiliar with handling large prints, we recommend, if possible, to leave this to your framer. Your framer will allow the print to flatten out under a sheet of tissue and mount board and then dry mount it to a substrate to ensure it stays perfectly flat.

If you do plan to unroll it yourself, it is essential to allow plenty of space on a clear, clean, flat surface. For larger prints in particular, it's easier with two people, to ensure it doesn't curl, crease or scratch. The prints are rolled with the curl of the paper (the way it is rolled for printing) with the image side facing out. It is essential not to try rolling it print side in, or in the opposite orientation as this will damage the print.
